We wait with bated breath for the Pantone Colour of the Year to be announced. Enter Peach Fuzz.

Described as a ‘velvety gentle peach tone whose all-embracing spirit embraces the mind, body, and soul’ by Laurie Pressman, VP of Pantone Color Institute, Peach Fuzz is in this year. Following a year of Viva Magenta (we are slightly relieved to see the back of this one), it is time to tone down the pallet. According to Pantone Color Institute, the hue ‘echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection’. Peach Fuzz-like colours occur all over the natural world; from land to sea to space.

There’s no doubt that Peach Fuzz can serve as an accent or a foundation colour. It’s mood-boosting qualities make the colour an ideal choice for social spaces or anywhere without much sunlight. Inspiring recalibration, this is a colour truly offers a space for people to flourish providing a positive impact on wellbeing.

The embodiment of kindness, we feel that Peach Fuzz is a positive colour, full of hope, belonging, and harmony.  We are excited to see how our Project Leads can integrate this colour in their projects.
