What excites you the most about Bates Studio?
Bates Studio is the first new brand we have launched in the 10 years I have been at Bates, an entirely new brand division aimed specifically at the end-to-end D&B projects. Being involved in the brand from the very beginning, it has been exciting and impressive to see how the team have worked together to create something very special.
What is something that inspires you at work?
Seeing how the team work together in a hardworking but fun environment to provide our customers with the best experience possible.
What led you to this career?
I don’t think anyone ever leaves school or college dreaming of going into sales but the thought of joining my family business and the allure of a company car at 18 definitely helped.
What does a perfect Sunday look like to you?
A game of golf with my son followed by a Sunday roast with the family.
Are you a morning person, or a night owl?
I was always a night owl but as I’m getting older, I’m far more of a morning person (that wishes he was still a night owl).
What is your go-to karaoke song?
Sweet Caroline (badly)
