Bradford College

Bates Studio were responsible for the planning and installation of a wide range of furniture for Bradford College. The college wanted to transform several areas with the main college. This included teaching areas, collaborative working areas, library, restaurant and beauty areas. This was also the case with the four-floor refurbished Garden Mill building which was transformed from a dilapidated building in an enjoyable area for their students.

Drawings were produced from the architects’ concepts and visuals by our in-house design team over a period of several months. We then produced detailed working drawings and material samples for each individual piece of furniture. In addition, we also provided sample for stakeholders to make sure they were happy with the furniture we proposed. All items were delivered, assembled and installed on time and within budget.
