Techary is a forward-thinking IT company with offices in Cannon Street, London and Orpington. Bates Studio worked closely with the Techary team to deliver interior solutions across both locations, creating contemporary workspaces that reflect the company’s modern identity and collaborative culture.

Working alongside the Design Team, Bates Studio guided Techary through a series of Clerkenwell manufacturer showrooms to explore furniture collections, finishes and statement pieces best suited to the look and functionality of each space. This collaborative approach helped shape a cohesive design scheme that balanced practicality with a refined, high-end aesthetic.

Across both offices, the interiors were designed to support a variety of working styles — from focused individual workspaces to collaborative meeting and breakout areas. Carefully selected furniture, integrated technology and considered zoning helped create flexible environments that feel both professional and welcoming.

The Cannon Street office combines clean architectural lines with soft neutral tones, black accents and textured finishes to create a sleek, contemporary workplace. Open-plan workstations maximise natural light and views across the city, while meeting rooms and touchdown spaces provide areas for focused collaboration. Feature lighting, acoustic detailing and integrated AV solutions were incorporated throughout to enhance both functionality and user experience.

Breakout and kitchen areas were designed as social hubs within the workspace, featuring statement circular lighting, bespoke joinery and modern café-style furniture to encourage informal meetings and team interaction. The overall palette was intentionally restrained and sophisticated, complementing Techary’s branding and reinforcing the company’s progressive, technology-led identity.

By combining design-led thinking with functional workplace solutions, Bates Studio delivered spaces that not only support Techary’s day-to-day operations, but also create an environment that reflects the ambition and professionalism of the business.
